Josh James      Project Manager

Josh brings a variety of interrelated experiences to FLA. His professional experience includes airport architecture, engineering, and planning, land development civil design, and custom home construction and design. Josh's hands on skills set as a carpenter and project manager help him understand how the pieces of a building come together, informing how he designs. 

​

In addition to Josh's career in designing and building, he brings a variety of life experiences to FLA. These experiences include backpacking across the United States on over 5,000 miles of trails, studying architecture in Spain, working at the North House Folk School building boats and timber frames, and helping run his family's farm and farmer's marker, all of which are part of who he is and what he contributes to the FLA Team.

He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of North Carolina.
